Emma was born in Newcastle, Australia. She began dancing at the age of 4 with Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy, where she received her training for 13 years.
In 2009, she graduated from Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung, Munich Ballet Academy with a Bachelor of Dance. While studying in Munich, Emma performed in Romeo and Juliet with the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
In September 2009, Emma joined Magdeburg Ballett in Germany, she performed roles including Clara in Nutcracker, Kitri in Don Quixote, Silly Girl in Graduation Ball, Isabelle in Wuthering Heights by Gonzalo Galguera, Lucille Grahn in Grand Pas de Quatre staged by Marta Garcia and Tempus Fugit by Robert North.
In 2012, Emma received the Young Artist of the Year Award from Theater Magdeburg Ballett.
Emma joined SDT in February 2014 and danced in Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, La Ventana and Tarantella in August Bournonville’s Bournonville Divertissements, Choo-San Goh’s Schubert Symphony, Piano Concerto #2 opus 102 by Edmund Stripe, Opus 25 by Edwaard Liang, Midnight Waltzes by Francois Klaus, 4Seasons by Natalie Weir, Blue Snow by Toru Shimazaki and George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15, Rubies and Serenade. She has also danced a soloist role as Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty (2015).
Emma was teaching the Adult Dance Class scheme in 2014 and 2015 associated with Singapore Dance Theatre.
