Principal Dancers Ashley Shaw and Adam Maskell from the prestigious Matthew Bourne Company, New Adventures will be in Newcastle on Sunday 31st July to present an incredible 2.5 hour workshop and Q&A.
Matthew Bourne is described as one of the world’s leading choreographers who style is unique, seamless and contemporary. This is an incredible opportunity to learn Matthew Bourne’s style from two of his principal dancers.
Ashley & Adam have spent the last 7 years with Matthew Bourne’s Company – New Adventures. Since 2010 they have been Principals and have performed a variety of roles around the world across different genres.
Ashley’s roles include Cinderella, Princess Sugar in The Nutcracker!, Lana in The Car Man, Kim Boggs in Edward Scissorhands and Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. In October she will play Victoria Page in Matthew’s World Premiere of The Red Shoes.
Adam’s roles include; Doppelganger in Dorian Gray, The Angelin Cinderella, The Nutcracker, Tony in Play Without Words and Carabosse/Caradoc in Sleeping Beauty. He has also performed in West End shows and at The National Theatre in London.
